The City of Oneida Parks & Recreation Department has entered the 21st Century by launching a new recreation management website at https://cityofoneida.recdesk.com/Community/Page?pageId=17281. This user friendly website acts as a portal through which people are able to register for City sponsored activities such as youth sports, clinics, classes, recreation center programming, afterschool programming, and community events from the comfort of your home or while on the go. Through the use of RecDesk, the Parks & Recreation Department is improving access to registration for activities, programming, and facilities in Oneida, NY.
RecDesk allows parents to manage the busy schedules of everyone in their household from one convenient website. They can register their children for leagues and programs, check to see if facilities are available for event rentals, upload necessary documents, and securely make payments with a credit card. Just find the program you wish to enroll in, click "register" and follow the prompts. Most major credit cards are accepted for online payments. Of course, we will still accept walk in and mailed in registrations. *Please note: All credit card payments will be assessed a processing fee. This fee cannot be refunded even if a program is cancelled.
The use of this website is part of an effort by the Parks & Recreation Department to streamline services to the public. It will significantly reduce the amount of paperwork involved in operating programs, camps and clinics throughout the year by allowing the public to fill out and submit digital forms and make payments online. It will also allow the Department to connect with the community in a closer and more efficient way than ever before. The Department will begin sending out regular emails to RecDesk members informing them of new programming, events, and other relevant news as well as offer text message alerts informing program registrants of any scheduling changes.
